Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your purchase and use of the Exodus software ("Software"). By requesting a license and installing the Software, you agree to these terms in full.

1. License Grant

Upon receipt of payment, Exodus Software grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to install and use the Software on one (1) personal computer. This license is for personal use only.

2. What the Software Does

Exodus is a self-monitoring productivity tool designed for use by the device owner on their own computer. It provides the following features:

• Session time tracking — records the duration of active PC usage sessions
• Activity monitoring — logs mouse clicks and keystroke counts locally on the device
• Auto-shutdown timer — powers off the PC after a user-defined time period

All data collected by Exodus is stored locally on your device only. No personal activity data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.

3. Permitted Use

You may use Exodus solely to monitor your own activity on your own computer. The Software is intended for personal productivity management by the device owner.

4. Prohibited Use

You may not use Exodus to:

• Monitor, track, or surveil any other person without their explicit knowledge and consent
• Install the Software on a device you do not own or have authorization to manage
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Software
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Software to any third party
• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose

5. Intellectual Property

Exodus Software and all associated intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Exodus Software. Your license does not transfer any ownership rights.

6. No Warranty

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to discontinue use and request a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Exodus Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Software.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you violate any term of this agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.
